A Sanctuary for Reflection & Creative Wellness
This is a place to slow down.
To breathe deeply.
To reconnect with faith, creativity, and the quiet work of becoming whole.
I am Carolyn Carleton—author, mentor, teacher, and fibre artist—creating tools and spaces that help women and leaders live with intention, resilience, and grace. Through journaling and fibre arts, I invite you into practices that restore the soul and bring faith into everyday life.
Whether you arrive here searching for clarity, healing, or creative renewal, you are welcome.

What you will find here
Journaling and fibre arts may seem different, but at their heart they share the same purpose:
to slow us down, anchor us in the present, and open space for transformation.
Here, faith is lived gently and honestly.
Creativity becomes a form of care.
And everyday practices become sacred rhythms.
Whether you are holding a pen or a pair of needles, you are participating in the same quiet work—paying attention to what matters most.
Begin Your Journey
You do not need to have it all figured out.
You only need to begin.
Explore the journals.
Pick up your yarn.
Make space for reflection and creativity.
This is your invitation into sanctuary.
Reflective Practices for Faith and Life
At the heart of this work is the My Journey Journal—a weekly journaling practice designed to help you pause, practise gratitude, and see God’s hand woven through your story. These journals are used by women and teens who are seeking clarity, healing, and a deeper connection to their faith.
Journaling is not about productivity.
It is about presence.
Creativity as Wellness
Through Living Skies Fibre Studio, I design knitting and crochet patterns inspired by Saskatchewan’s landscapes and rooted in the belief that making with your hands can restore the soul.
Fibre arts offer a quiet rhythm in a noisy world.
A place to breathe.
A place to heal.
Patterns, workshops, and retreats are created with intention, encouraging slow making and mindful living.
Teaching, Mentorship, and Leadership Support
With over twenty years of experience walking alongside others as a pastor’s wife, youth missions leader, speaker, and mentor, I understand the unique challenges faced by women and leaders today.
Through workshops such as Rooted & Flourishing, mentoring, and the Equipped Podcast, I offer grounded guidance for those navigating faith, leadership, burnout, and transition with integrity.
